THIS RADIO RUNS ON AMATEUR RADIO BANDS ONLY, WHICH VHF 144-148 MHz, UHF 430-450MHz.
CAN'T BE PROGRAMMED TO FRS OR GMRS.
The TH-UV88 features 200 programmable channels with support for 2-meter and 70-cm ham frequencies. CTCSS/DCS and 1750 Hz call tone. Other features include dual wait, dual standby, FM radio, DTMF encode/decode, remote stun/kill/activate, and key lock. The UV88 also features a dot-matrix LCD display, built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation, and a high-illumination flashlight.
The TYT TH-UV88 includes a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, belt clip, removable antenna, microphone, drop-in battery charger, AC adapter, owner's manual, and a?90 days warranty from Baofengradio.ca.
